4/04/24- Painting and assembling the decorative/aesthetic elements of the bench!

A wonderful few hours in the warmth of sunshine shining through the greenhouse nailing the wooden paintings of the wildlife in the park, the creators of the bench, the qr codes etc...and experimenting with the colours of spring painted onto the bench. I didn't want to go overkill and wanted to leave visible areas of the beautiful wood we have sanded and oiled, so went in between, underneath, in the back.... I now have a bunch of further to dos, which I shall write below!

An amazing time spent solo in the green house painting and assembling the artworks on the bench!!

What I need to do now is continue painting bits of wood and pyrography of words in greater depth for the bench… I need to make more dream catchers and attach….. these can all be done alongside gardening sessions, welcoming people to join, I will make a poster for this.

I may need to re-paint/change colours/based on group suggestions, too...uncertain about the crazy salmony/corally orange I mixed for the back. Cathryn says she has a lovely terracotta colour she can lend my way!

Dates possible: 17th, 24th April (this week=testing live stream), 1st May! (On first of May, I need to install and photograph this week ahead of 9th deadline!)

I need to see if possible to pyrograph artist text and explanatory text.

Placement officer Lisset has sent out the posters to local care homes, too!

I need to continue sound piece (George help this week).

I need to try and practice the live stream and dongle…. And get to 50 subscribers (weekend of 27th w/ dad?....I NOW HAVE A TRIPOD AND WIFI DONGLE-YAY!)

I need mum to help me cut down my presentation (Monday).
