Initial brainstorming

I have been formulating ideas centring around 'Hiraeth'. And the people of Ponty NOW. Recognising looking back, looking forward, but really looking at who and where Ponty people are at presently (from wherever they hail from in the world, Ponty or elsewhere). Currently, I'm thinking I'd like to gather stories, voices and set up workshops surrounding this....I had an epiphany and was reminded of my absolute love of benches...I spent my whole foundation year doing social projects about benches and the power they have to start conversations, friendships, and reflection. In light of the National Eisteddfod and legacy, benches in parks that encompass an element of socially engaged art and interaction seems like something wonderful. There are so many movements globally that involve benches as a social object, a tackle of loneliness and even as a way of accessing therapeutic help (Zimbabwe friendship benches!).
