Julianknxx, Chorus in Rememory of Flight at the Barbican and Frank Auerbach: The Charcoal Heads at the Courtauld...so wonderful to get some inspiring gallery boosts...the beauty and peace of the charcoal heads with the months spent on each piece studying the soul of the person, and the profound messages Julianknxx carries through his video work, with each subject, with each song, mesmerising.

When at the exhibition in the Courtauld, it was quite amazing, as so many people had conversations with one another...with me and my brother...random strangers interacting through being inspired by the art...and this is a rare occasion in London! This felt promising and reassuring and really brightened a day.

When in the curve gallery space of Juliaknxx 'In Rememory of Flight', there was an air of calm and peace, as people were surrounded by song, voice, colour and thought-provoking messages.

The John Ruskin Prize 2024, Trinity Buoy Wharf

On a beautiful glistening spring day along the river side, I visited the free exhibit of artists who had been nominated or winners of the 6th John Ruskin Prize 'Seeing the Unseen, Hearing the Unspoken'...a multidisciplinary art prize in the UK. A work colleague of mine, Elias Mendel, was one of the artists in the exhibition with an incredibly powerful and moving animation 'Writing of Memory' about his Jewish Family history, of the holocaust, fighting in the first world war and moving homelands.

I have also included images of some art works that feel relevant to my explorations of nature, place, belonging... alongside the beautiful East London surroundings captured in the glistening sunshine.
