Reflections from USW's Creative Industries Careers Fair and Future Generations Climate Convention and Immersed Fringe

Networking briefly and attending a panel with Lewis Jamieson, Director of Communications at Music Declares Emergency, artist/Spelling Mistakes Cost Lives Darren Cullen, multidisciplinary producer Emma Blake-Morsi and Greg Mothersdale at Media Cymru on 'The Power of Communication: From Dystopias to Utopias'.... Got me considering this project with the perspective of conservation, sustainability and climate change. The Wellbeing for Future Generations (2015) in Wales initiative was very much spoken about, something that we so often have aligned our work with on the course. It's helpful to remember this, and in conjunction with the Eisteddfod. They kept talking about 'grass roots', and it reaffirmed about what we do at CTA as CAPs, and how we also really do come at things from the ground up: whether that be through being with people and spreading kindness and connection, or working sustainably and ethically.
