Sending out callouts for poster sharing to join the livestream, and save the dates for the group!!

Dear____________ My name is Connie Lammiman, a final year BA Hons ‘Creative and Therapeutic Arts Student’ at the University of South Wales in Treforest. For our graduation show, we're creating community artwork for the Pontypridd Art Trail on May 17-19, 2024 and working with local community groups. As a way of creating access to the project for people who may not be able to get outdoors, I planned to set up a live stream at the time of the Sun’s highest position in the sky (the ‘solar noon) for an hour, filmed from a bench crafted and designed together with the gardening community at Friends of Ynysangharad War Memorial Park. I think it might be such a lovely thing that perhaps your nursing home may like to show to your residents, so they can experience the live bustle of spring in the local park, listening to wildlife, and watching the world go by, knowing that others are connected in watching at the same time too. There will also be a created soundscape alongside the stream, combining gathered sounds by people of Ponty and myself of the local nature this spring! Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions! If you think this may be something that you and your residents will enjoy, please contact me and I will attach a little poster I have made so that you can save the date and scan the QR code to connect you to my youtube so you can attend the live stream on the day/s. I do hope you find a time to watch and enjoy with one another! Warmest wishes, Connie Lammiman

Posters/notice board sticking up, Chip is kindly going to do in the museum...I have put some up around university, too.

I also need to (once QR code is generated and I have chatted with Ros)...post this poster, too!! Am putting posters up around the park and the group.

I will hand out posters/save the dates for the group to remember and celebrate, all their hard work and generosity too!

Deadline for wanting community engagement, need to consider...perhaps 17th April?
