I need to think about best ways to show submissions, getting help from Lisset placement officer to reach out poster to care homes beyond CF37 (as none in data base)....needing to adapt and send out to people of Ponty on pages to join for the day....and planning the practical, making vs online admin side. ALSO TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO COME BY: A moment to pause, watch and listen to the bustle of a park in spring live streamed on youtube from a crafted bench... COME BY FOR A CHAT AND BE A PART OF THE LIVE STREAM IN PERSON, OR WATCH REMOTELY!....Have sent out another post! Dear Age Connects Team,

My name is Connie Lammiman, a final year BA Hons ‘Creative and Therapeutic Arts Student’ at the University of South Wales in Treforest.

For our graduation show, we're creating community artwork for the Pontypridd Art Trail on May 17-19, 2024 and working with local community groups.

As a way of creating access to the project for people who may not be able to get outdoors, I planned to set up a live stream at the time of the Sun’s highest position in the sky (the ‘solar noon) for an hour, filmed from a bench crafted and designed together with the gardening community at Friends of Ynysangharad War Memorial Park.

I think it might be such a lovely thing that local nursing homes may like to show residents, so they can experience the live bustle of spring in the local park, listening to wildlife, and watch the world go by, knowing that others are connected in watching at the same time too. There will also be a created soundscape alongside the stream, combining gathered sounds by people of Ponty and myself of the local nature this spring!

I wonder if you could help share this to care homes/centres in RCT and spread the word?
