Today in the gardens 18/04/24

Arriving in the early morning spring painting plant pots, nailing the plaques onto the bench, the kindness and generosity of joining volunteers, S and Sa, out of hours to help with planting into pots, design ideas- adding Welsh words and phrases that encompass associations with the community and this project, water-proofing the bottom of the bench, and helping properly secure panels. I am very lucky and grateful!... In addition, I have gathered some wonderful audio from today and have recorded an interview with Sue about growing up in Merthyr, the land and home...I shall now begin to edit audio. My brother George has just assisted me in composing a piece that mirrors peace and reflection in nature! Excited as it is very atmospheric and moving. I know tomorrow I need to ensure that the bench is finessed better.
