Weekend walks to inspire: The 'Three Cliffs Bay Loop': forestry, hills, rivers, cliffs, castles, SEA, clay, shells...
On a rainy and windy Sunday, I travelled to the Gower with a friend Meryl to walk the loop of the three cliffs bay, by Pennard Castle, following the historical and folk stories in the trail, and becoming immersed in all the elements!

^^A truly accessible and clear layout of the trail, with beautiful photography helped me begin.
When walking by the castle, there was a QR code that linked to the folk stories of the castle and surrounding areas: https://historypoints.org/index.php?page=myths-of-pennard-castle-gower... fairies, witches, magic brought a different spin to the walk afterwards.
I found some NATURAL CLAY!!!! I MUST RETURN AND FORAGE SOME CAREFULLY TO PERHAPS INSPIRE SOME MAKING WITH THIS PROJECT!!
What was most helpful from this walk firstly, was the healing nature of the walk and adventure, but also the amazing acoustics and sounds from the wind, water, caves...I must gather more sounds to combine the beautiful history of the land.
Additionally, WOODEN PALETTES AND GATHERING WOOD FOR BENCH-MAKING FROM LOCAL AREAS!
