What a beautiful gardening session today: 24/4/24

Today- such a happy and sunny feeling in the group....all happily planting out the veg, including wildflowers in the back planter of the bench, eating cake and sharing stories! The vegetables have grown into actual vegetables, and this feels so good that WE HAVE GROWN IT!! We all came together to help work on the bench, whether that was sawing, planting, gluing on to the bottom of the bench, hammering, amidst the beautiful planting session. Ros had made cakes! Sally had made homemade bunting especially for the project, and had potted up forget-me-knots and lady bonnet flowers into a pot for the bamboo signage and line of suncatchers to protrude from...this shows just how much kindness, dedication and time spent with care the wonderful members of this community have been putting into this...I am so touched and bowled over by this. This is what community and kindness looks like.
